The 2021 edition of the biggest reality TV show in African, “Big Brother Naija” is back!
The title for this year’s edition which is the 6th season of the BBNaija reality TV show is “Shine Ya Eye”.
22 housemates have been admitted into the big brother house, 11 males and 11 females.
This season started with two launch shows. The first launch show was on Saturday 24 July, where all 11 males housemates were unveiled, the second launch show happened today, Sunday 25 July, where all 11 female housemates were also unveiled.
Lets meet the male housemates;
Boma
Boma, 34-years-old mixologist, model and former footballer. Raised by his single mother and grandmother. He is divorced. Boma suffered an injury during football try-outs, he is determined to “never, ever, give up” and hold onto his faith.
Saga
Full name Adeolu Okusaga, 28-years-old, is an engineer by training, hails from Lagos State. He said the lowest point for his life was when he heard of tthe death of his mother – who he described as e best friend.
Saga promises to bring vibe to the house.
Yousef
YouSef is a teacher and a model. He attended the University of Jos.
Pere
Pere is an actor and plan to “bring spontaneity to the audience on the show”.
Whitemoney
Hazel aka Whitemoney is a businessman who imports and sells shoes. He is 29-year-old and based in Lagos but originally from Enugu State. Whitemoney described himself as an open-minded person who likes to catch fun.
Niyi
Niyi is a former basketball player from Oyo State currently based in South Africa with his wife and a child. He is a businessman who runs a fantasy game platform and event business in Cape Town, South Africa. Niyi is 6’6′ in height and is likely the tallest housemate on this season edition of the show.
Yerins
Full name Yerins Abraham, is a medical doctor and an artiste. He describe himself as a ‘polymath’ with an undying love for many creative things. He also loves to eat even though it doesn’t show on his body.
Jay Paul
29-years-old Jay Paul is from Calabar, Cross River state. He describe himself as a “social butterfly”. He is a complete entertainer who run tourism business. Jay Paul is an actor, singer and a dancer as well.
Emmanuel
Emmanuel, a 24-year-old model and former Mister Africa. He hails from Akwa Ibom State. He is single and is possibility going ton mingle in the house.
Sammie
Sammie is a final-year student studying Guidance & Counselling at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is from Kaduna State and plans to enjoy himself in the house.
Cross
31-years old Ikechukwu love clubbing, dancing and also likes to see “women fight over him”. He is into yoga.
Lets meet the female housemates
Angel
Full name, Angel Agnes Smith. Angel is a 21-year-old proud feminist from Akwa Ibom state. She believes being on Big Brother Naija will help her kick-start her journey in writing and cinematography. She said she is a fun person and promises to be entertaining in the house. She also claimed to be bossy and will be real in the house. According to her her friends describes her as a drama queen.
Peace Ogo
Peace is a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Her burning passion for fashion and style inspired her to open her very own clothing store. Her hobby is to relax. She say she is a nice person and also claim that she will be real in the house all through the show.
Jackie B
Jackie B is a proud single mum from a family of 12 and hard worker with a passion for life. She is an interior designer and a certified event and wedding planner and went to university in the UK where she had her son. The 29-year-old loves music, dancing and having fun and spending time with the people she loves, but also enjoys time to herself. She describes herself as an “introverted extrovert” and insists she is shy, but confident.
“You respect me I respect you” is her watchword.
Tega
29-year-old mother of one, Tega is a business owner who loves dancing, travelling, DIY and photography. She described herself as someone who is always willing to learn and tries to look at difficult situations as an avenue to learn and grow.
She hails from Cross River State, and claims she has a personality of water and fire.
Arinola Olowoporoku
Full name Arinola Olowoporoku, Arin is a 29-year-old feminist, millennial Pisces who was raised in a polygamous home in Lagos. She is a fashion designer and an independent arts and culture curator dedicated to promoting the contemporary visual arts in Africa. Arin has 17 piercings on her body.
Liquorose
Full name Roseline Omokhoa Afije aka Liquorose hails from Edo State. The 26-year-old used to be a video vixen, and her passion for dancing led her to her current profession; leader of a girl dance group.
According to Roselyn she has been dancing since she was 12 years old.
Roselyn said she is very playful and promises to bring her playful self to the competition.
Maria
Full name Maria Nkechiyenre. Maria is a 29-year-old former air hostess, turned realtor who enjoys cooking, exercising, hiking, acting, and dancing. Maria who hails from Imo State prides herself on being a loving and kind-hearted individual who is always looking for new adventures. Her travels have taken her around the world and to all continents, except Antarctica
Maria is single and hope to explore dating opportunities in the house.
Beatrice
Beatrice is a fashion model and up and coming actress Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Beatrice is a 28-year-old single mother of a five-year-old boy. She is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt where she studied marketing.
She can sing, dance, play basketball and football very well and is also a great hairstylist. She is also a talented software developer.
She also has a clothing brand and after the show, she plans to improve on it and build a modelling agency.
Princess
“Expect to go on a ride wit me”
Princess Francis is a 30-year-old e-hailing service driver and business owner. She lives in Abuja, but comes from Imo State. Princess listed buying her very first car as the highest point in her life. Her lowest on the other hand, is when she found out her dad passed away.
Saskay
Full name Tsakute Jonah Saskay, is a 22-year-old extrovert and lover of books. Although she was suspended from school in 2015, Saskay is having the last laugh as a fine artist and has even won titles such as ‘Model of The Year’ and ‘Female Personality of The Year’ at her university. She said she will like own her own Art gallery after the show.
Saskay is NOT single.
Nini
26-year-old Anita aka Nini is an economist and fashion entrepreneur born and raised in Nigeria. She has four siblings and a supportive mother that she loves very much. She currently lives in Abuja and is a graduate of the University of Abuja.
All housemates competes for the ultimate grand prizes, a whooping ninety million naira (₦90m) winner takes it all.
