Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk has been reportedly suspended from football after testing positive for doping, according to a new report.
The 23-year-old winger, who has not played for Chelsea since their Europa Conference League match against Heidenheim on November 28, cannot play due to a doubtful negative test result.
This was reported by the Daily Mail, who understand the probe is thought to centre around a contaminated supplement.
According to FA rules, “a player who has been notified of a test result can be suspended, they will have an opportunity to respond with a statement before a decision is made on a possible charges.”
Mudryk reportedly took a test in August, the results of which were clear and his behavior did not change. Chelsea are said to have launched an investigation.
